Born in Clintwood, Virginia, Stuart R. Mullins is a lifelong educator and storyteller whose diverse experiences shape the heart of his writing. A middle school English teacher by profession, Stuart brings a deep appreciation for language and human connection to every page he writes. Outside the classroom, he’s a collegiate sports official, guitarist and bassist musician, devoted husband and father, and unapologetic cat enthusiast. A proud aficionado of 1980s music and film, he infuses his work with nostalgia, authenticity, and a sharp sense of humor. Currently, Stuart is working on several new fiction projects along with a collection of nonfiction pieces exploring life, art, and the stories that connect us all.
